AI Product Engineer

NeuralForge Labs is building AI-powered workflow tools for small SaaS teams. We are looking for an AI Product Engineer who can move comfortably between product thinking, backend development, and practical AI integrations.

You will work on features that turn messy business workflows into useful AI-assisted experiences, from internal copilots to document parsing, smart recommendations, and automation flows.

**Responsibilities:**
- Build AI-assisted product features using LLM APIs and traditional backend services.
- Design and maintain APIs, database models, and background jobs.
- Work with product and design to turn prototypes into reliable production features.
- Improve prompts, data flows, and evaluation loops for AI features.
- Keep performance, security, and user experience in mind while shipping quickly.

**Requirements:**
- Strong backend experience with Python, PHP/Laravel, Node.js, or similar.
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI APIs.
- Comfortable with relational databases and API design.
- Good product judgment and ability to work independently.
- Experience with React or another modern frontend framework is a plus.
